Your pots will go nowhere, as long as you have it FIRMLY anchored into a stud.You might also want to seriously re-think how big of a bar you want...when I bought this, I thought a 54 inch bar was enough with the right-angled hooks. Now I'm running out of space because it is SO handy to have everything out of the cabinets. I wish I had a longer bar....
