You can do the white boiled chicken for ten minutes and not have to worry about 20 minutes of simmering as you would with western pots! It's also great to make arroz con pollo and other Latin American stews and rice dishes. I don't think it bakes all that well since it's designed to go on top of the stove (Chinese, I hear, don't bake and they think it's a waste of energy to use this pot in the oven, don't ask!)Customer service from this vendor is fabulous. They sent me recipes, a wooden spoon, and a back scratcher. Dog got the back scratcher, they promised they'd send me another one!
